Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Business IT

Course Duration 9 - 12 Months

dThis programme is ideal for individuals who wish to build on their existing IT skills whilst being introduced to a range of business and management issues so as to equip them with relevant skills and knowledge to undertake responsibilities at senior management level.

The learning outcome of the course is to equip candidates with the necessary abilities to analyse the complex and interacting issues of a real world domain, to identify and be capable of analysis of alternative approaches to addressing these issues, and to select the most appropriate approach on the basis of experience and disciplined thought
The postgraduate Diploma leads to MSc in Strategic Business Information Technology. This is a 18-24 months programme consisting of two stages.

NCC Education Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Business IT leading to MSc

Postgraduate Diploma is awarded by NCC Education and after passing the following four modules, students can apply to enrol for MSc offered by various universities in the UK.

Core Modules:

  • Research in Information Technology
  • Enterprise Software and Business Infrastructure
  • Strategic Information Systems Analysis
  • Project Management


Entry Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent. NCC Education BSC (Hons) BCIS validated and awarded by the University of Wales
  • OR A non-IT degree with at least three years’ vocational IT experience, some at managerial/supervisory level
  • OR Five years’ vocational IT experience, some of which is managerial/supervisory. ALSO Candidates who have not studied at Bachelor’s level using English need an IELTS 6.5 or an equivalent deemed suitable by NCC Education.

Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Business IT awarded by NCC Education.
